Seminar – Debate: Prof. Rudolf Simek (Universität Bonn), The Normans – The Normans

On Monday, March 27, as part of the Hyblaean Days of Germanistics (10th edition), Prof. Rudolf Simek, professor emeritus of medieval German and Nordic literature at the University of Bonn, will hold a seminar, with subsequent discussion, at the University of Catania – Ragusa Special Education Facility, on the history and culture of the Normans, the topic of his recent monograph “Die Geschichte der Normannen. Von Wikingerhäuptlingen zu Königen Siziliens” (Stuttgart, Reclam, 2018; durchgesehene Ausgabe 2021). Prof. Lorenzo Lozzi Gallo, full professor of Germanic philology at the University of Messina, will present and moderate.
