Winter School of Old English (Palermo, November 11-15, 2024)
“Studying Old English: texts, manuscripts and research tools.”
A Winter School in Early English entitled “Studying Early English: Texts, Manuscripts and Research Tools” will take place on Nov. 11-15. The Winter School is aimed at doctoral students in Germanic Philology, Ph.D. students and master’s degree students who wish to further their education on the language and culture of early medieval English. Lectures will be complemented by seminar-based workshops devoted to the linguistic and philological analysis of certain texts, as well as their contextualization in the Old English cultural milieu.
